I was so close to pulling the knife down and ending life as I knew it, and I had an out-of-body experience of my mother, sitting down crying.  I then came out of the out-of-body experience and had another instantaneously, this time in the future, with me on my wedding day...  With the girl I had a crush on at the time...  It completely spun my life around, I have no thoughts of suicide now.

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          Yes    I was about to suicide.  The knife was at my throat.
