David F's Experience
|
Experience description:
you
don't want much.... most of the details are in later questions. Before and
after I was physiologically "normal". During a walk through the park, this
presumed memory, flooded in in mere seconds. Through a walled "tunnel", to the
"waiting place". In this place there was NOTHING in ANY direction. No heat, no
light, no joy, and it could last forever. Fear started welling up inside me.
Then I remembered, Jesus promised he would be there, if we just believed, and I
did, and....suddenly I was in the light, in another place. A review of my life
(second by second, and from my, and OTHERS' point of view) preceded seeing, and
"speaking" with Jesus occurred. If the trip "there" took...15 seconds, the trip
"back" took...three?
At the time of your experience was there an associated life-threatening event?
Uncertain well...I presume there must have been.
Was
the experience difficult to express in words?
Yes It took me a couple years to find words BIG enough to even APPROXIMATE
the scale of the experience!
At
what time during the experience were you at your highest level of
consciousness and alertness?
when I came into the light
How
did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience
compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?
More
consciousness and alertness than normal I could understand things being
"talked" about, without speech, knowing (!) it was the absolute TRUTH, all in a
giga-second!
Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that
you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.
Prior to this I was just...living life. Afterwards, knowing that a lifetime is
tremendously tiny compared to eternity (which, I now believe, is simply being
apart from time), it was perfectly clear that life's suffering was virtually
unimportant. Visually? Everything was made of light. It was the first thing
that made me come to know where I was...the afterlife.
Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that
you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.
What
hearing? Every single thing was just thought transference of some type, even my
"speech".
Did you see or hear any earthly events that were occurring during a time that
your consciousness / awareness was apart from your physical / earthly body?
Uncertain I knew people in my family were praying, though I didn't understand
why they would be (I was "fine")...and they were.
What emotions did you feel during the experience?
Whoa. Peace, to an indescribable degree! Absolute justice. Pure truth, and
much more. All of this, shown to be the simplest of the simple!! How would you
feel?
Did
you pass into or through a tunnel?
Yes This wasn't exactly a "tunnel". When I first "left earth", I felt myself
moving forward at an impossible speed. "Why am I going so fast?", I ask
myself. It was purely dark in front of me. "Where am I rushing away from", I
wondered. (This is all in milli-seconds.) I turned around (at the waist) and
saw what I can finally describe as all the existing galaxies shrinking to a pin
point, then gone (!), in the time it takes to turn around. Calculate that speed
once! ...I could FEEL walls, but no floor, or ceiling.
Did
you see an unearthly light?
Yes After the "tunnel", and after the "waiting place", suddenly I found
myself...in this...area (a huge "room"?). I'm looking down, toward my feet.
I'm wondering why I'm, out of nowhere, standing looking down at my feet. Then I
realize, I'm being bathed in light (from the front). "What is this...WAIT a
second. If I'm where I think I must be, then that light is...". I'm still
looking down. I begin to tremble. Then I get weak. My knees start to buckle.
I think to myself, "my knees are never weak, so why now? I must not fall down.
I will NOT fall down" ....as I fell to my knees. "OK, I'm on my knees, but I
WILL NOT go farther", as I fell on my face. "I have GOT to know what is in this
light! This may be my only chance!". It took every ounce of strength I had to
raise my head. There was a person, with light coming from his face. It was
blinding, but not hurtful. It IS peace...joy...and more. But, I can't see the
face! "I've GOT TO see his face!!" I put every last drop of effort I could
muster into seeing into the light. I see through! It IS Jesus!! And the light
is everything "good".
Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an
unidentifiable voice?
I encountered a
definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin
Jesus, in person. (refer to question 16.)
Did
you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who
are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha,
etc.)?
Yes Jesus, but unlike any photo or drawing I had/have ever seen. Long hair.
Slender face (but not malnourished or worn). Around us, somewhere, I felt the
presence of every person that ever had or will live. No meeting of relatives.
Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings?
Yes Not specifically friends or relatives, just everyone from all of time (who
made it "there").
Did you become aware of past events in your life during your experience?
Yes Not only were the details of my "life review" absolutely true, I saw every
thought I was thinking at the time it actually happened, second by second.
ALSO, I saw AND felt what the people around me, during the events in my life,
felt and thought, AS IF IT WAS ME! (You hurt them, you are hurting yourself!)
Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world?
A clearly
mystical or unearthly realm
At
the end of the "tunnel", I just stopped. I'm...NOWHERE? IT is the darkest
dark, and the emptiest "empty" you can imagine. Wait...you can NOT imagine how
much this was true. Later I was in the..."room of light".
Did time seem to speed up or slow down?
Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning
Everything did not happen at once. There was a progression, but it was "apart
from time"! How can you explain this to someone who hasn't been there? "Time"
was just gone. (That is HOW "forever" exists!!) Simple, huh.
Did you suddenly seem to understand everything?
No
Every thing? I understood everything about what I had been shown. Just the
last "second" I was there I said, "WAIT. I have a thousand questions!" The
reply came back, "you shall have the answer to your thousand questions.". I
thought that meant I got to stay there, but suddenly I'm flying down this
(round, enclosed) tunnel, and I'm back here.
Did
you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?
No
No physical structures at all, just "areas".
Did you come to a border or point of no return?
No
I remember wanting to be able to help my (single) mother, but I wanted to stay
there, too.
Did
scenes from the future come to you?
Scenes from the world's future
Scenes from all future came to me, but it's not for personal use, so, usually
I'm not able to recall it until somewhat before the event. (There have been
NUMEROUS examples: The first week of the Iran hostage crisis (1979?), I asked
my brother how long he thought it would last, then he asked me. I WROTE IT
DOWN, INSIDE a wall I was building. I "looked" for the resulting number. I
thought, "it's over a year...so...four hundred", then, "forty...four. That must
be wrong. Too many fours", I told him. Another? The minute the first plane hit
the world trade center, I said, "KEEP WATCHING. Another plane is coming!". I
pointed here and there, in the background, trying to pick it out, when....wham!
And as soon as that one hit I knew, and said, "both buildings are coming
down!". Another? I've not only chosen the winner of every presidential
election since Nixon, most times a year or more ahead of time, but I saw and
said that Reagan, Clinton, Bush, and, yes Obama would win a second term...and I
said these BEFORE they were elected the FIRST TIME!! (how else could I do
this?) Another? Don't ask me why, but, we were discussing the "perfect
address". I said, "seven (for luck)...fourteen...hellion...no, heller ...that's
not quite right". Months later, work slowed. I decided to build a house, for
my own family, for a change. It was a new subdivision. I started building on
lot 30. Shortly, I needed papers sent there. What was the address? 714 Keller,
of course!! One more? Eight years beforehand, I saw something huge going to
happen in my life. I'd be 34, and it would be "April...no, May", I said. And
I'll have a kid 3 1/2 to 5 years old". (Who guesses 3 1/2?! Four seemed too
late.) I assumed it was my death. The second the doctor said, "the operation
went as expected, BUT, her legs aren't responding" I realized...we'd waited
months for a surgery date...we got the date IN April, FOR May...and I was 34,
AND my kid was one week off of 3 1/2, and paralyzed!! Oh my God.
During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness
suggesting that there either is (or is not) continued existence after earthly
life (life after death)?
Yes YES. I KNOW where I was, and I was NOT nonexistent. Plus you don't
experience peace and joy that can't be described, even somewhat, for years, if
you don't exist.
During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness
that God or a supreme being either does (or does not) exist?
Yes OH yeah. Jesus IS the light, and full to overflowing of goodness. To get
to stay there, separate from time, in bliss? Yes, I saw a supreme being.
During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness
that you either did (or did not) exist prior to this lifetime?
No
During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness
that a mystical universal connection or unity/oneness either does (or does not)
exist?
Yes How can I explain? I AM you, and You are ME! Like in my "life review",
things I said that were hurtful, I felt just as if it were me being the one
told. And it hurt. Tell me that isn't purely Justice. (What if that hurt went
on forever? Self-made "hell"?)
During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness
regarding earthly lifes meaning or purpose?
Yes Knowing that life is such a tiny part of eternity...let me put it this
way...if you wanted to lie, but in five minutes, the truth would be known, would
you still lie? How about...what if you were about to lose everything you
own...but in five minutes you were going to...win the biggest lottery ever.
Would you care about losing that JUNK you own now? You would probably GIVE it
away! (Where have I heard this before....)
During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness
regarding earthly lifes difficulties, challenges, or hardships?
Yes Knowing that life is such a tiny part of eternity...let me put it this
way...if you wanted to lie, but in five minutes, the truth would be known, would
you still lie? How about...what if you were about to lose everything you
own...but in five minutes you were going to...win the biggest lottery ever.
Would you care about losing that JUNK you own now? You would probably GIVE it
away! (Where have I heard this before....)
During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness
regarding love?
Yes After "the experience" I felt ripped off. I didn't get to stay, AND I
didn't get the answers to my thousand questions! So, I actually started a
list. When I got the answer to a question that came up (concerning life, etc.),
that seemed beyond human knowledge, I would write it down. I got to several
hundred, over the years. It became obvious that I would get the thousand, but I
felt I was missing the point. It seemed impossible...one answer to all my
questions? Then, one day I realized that "love" answered MANY questions. So, I
tried to pin down questions that WEREN'T answered by "love", and there were
NONE. One thousand questions. One answer. Beyond human "knowledge"...and TRUE
(and Simple).
During your experience, did you encounter any other specific information /
awareness that you have not shared in other questions that is relevant to living
our earthly lives?
Yes But, what more do I need?
Did
you have a sense of knowing special knowledge or purpose?
Yes Everything about this experience was special knowledge.
What occurred during your experience included:
Content that was both consistent and not consistent with the beliefs you had at
the time of your experience It WAS Jesus, as I believed, but my particular
brand of religion was not absolutely correct. Every religion (seeking "good")
has at least one thing right.
How
accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events
that occurred around the time of the experience?
I
remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred
around the time of the experience How could ANYONE not remember this. I knew
zero about dying and returning, and, what a coincidence, what I told and wrote
of it is reported by thousands of others!
Discuss any changes that might have occurred in your life after your
experience:
Now
I know Life is just a blink of the eye long...what's to worry about? And, if
someone treats you bad, it is simply because they don't UNDERSTAND. You have
probably heard the saying, "forgive them, for they know not what they do".
Besides that, they are you, and you are them. How would you like to be
treated...for eternity? Treat them like that.
My experience directly resulted in:
Large changes in my life
Did you have any changes in your values or beliefs after the experience that
occurred as a result of the experience?
Yes Beforehand, I already was trying to "be good" and "do good", but I had
ZERO idea of the EXTENT of what is possible/expected.
Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your
experience that you did not have before the experience?
Yes On occasion I am able to "see" the future. The way it works (for me) is,
I ask, or am asked a question, and I "look" to see the answer, as if I AM that
answer. This is not meant for personal gain.
Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful
or significant to you?
Knowing that we don't cease to exist, and, there will be absolute justice in the
end, and that life is like it is five minutes long, WHAT IS THERE TO WORRY
ABOUT?
Have you ever shared this experience with others?
Yes
I told my brother. We were extremely close. He thought I was either making it
up, or crazy. So I didn't SPEAK of it until, a couple years later, when a
co-worker was reading about life after death. She started to tell me, and I
said, "wait!". I proceeded to tell her my experience. She says, "Oh, you've
read the book?". I told her, no, that happened to me. After that I spoke of it
every time I could fit it into a conversation. Reactions? Most people listened
intently, then, amazed, didn't say much. Some said, WOW! You were right there,
in front of the "throne of God"! Influenced? I would have to say yes, but I
can't say exactly how.
Did
you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your
experience?
No
I had ZERO knowledge of NDEs. I didn't figure it was even possible.
What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to
weeks) after it happened:
Experience was definitely real With this new knowledge, what else could it
be? I wondered, "why me". "Why not someone more deserving, but I KNEW it was
real, and still do.
What do you believe about the reality of your experience at the current time:
Experience was definitely real With this new knowledge, what else could it
be? I wondered, "why me". "Why not someone more deserving, but I KNEW it was
real, and still do.
Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?
Yes
I no
longer hate "bad" people. How can you judge people who simply don't understand?
Have your religious beliefs/spiritual practices changed specifically as a result
of your experience?
Yes
Much
is expected of us...not that "good works" will "get you in", but, if you are one
of those who "believe", wouldn't your "works" show it?
At
any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the
experience?
No
and that was my mission for years...could it be
reproduced. Believe me when I say, I tried everything.
Is
there anything else that you would like to add about your experience?
All
the difficult questions had massively simple answers.
Did the questions asked and information that you provided accurately and
comprehensively describe your experience?
Uncertain Accurately, yes. Comprehensively? There is a lot more. I have
(FINALLY) begun writing the final, public, details of this in an Ebook. Your
site is helping me "flesh out" more details, in fact.
