Connie D's Experience
|
Experience description:
I had brain surgery on
2/24 for treatment of a large intraventricular brain cyst and was under
anesthesia for 2 to 3 hours. I had no memory of the experience until the next
morning.
The only real "sleep" I
had during my 5 days of hospitalization was during the surgery. Being in neuro
ICU the night following the surgery, I did not sleep at all. The following
morning I saw various scenes in my head when I closed my eyes.
The first one was a
close up view of coming out from between my breasts. I opened my eyes not sure
why I had that view! The next time I closed my eyes I had a vision of actually
entering my brain, what looked like creamy peach color of the brain tissue, and
the contours of the brain. I saw the jagged opening of the cyst and actually
entering the opening and seeing the perfectly round hole the surgeon made in the
cyst! I also saw the pearly blue color of the cyst itself. I drew a picture, as
best I could, of what I saw and the surgeon said it was "pretty accurate". He
also chuckled when I mentioned the perfectly round hole he made and he verified
that.
The next time I closed
my eyes, the scene was more spiritual. I had a view of beautiful , tall trees
with long slender trunks and clumps of beautiful green, blue and yellow leaves.
There was green grass and a dirt road running along the trees. There was a line
of people on the road and I saw my father, who passed away in Sept 2009 at the
age of 89. He was regressed about 10 years and was going from person to person
smiling and shaking their hands. It was a very happy reunion. I could also see a
number of dogs running around, excited. I couldn't see most of the people's
faces but could make out my Dad's cousin who passed away about 20 yrs. ago.
The last scene I saw
was that of a little, white dog, standing on a dark colored wood floor, looking
up as if he is looking from person to person in a room. I haven't met that
little dog yet but I expect to.
