I was asleep at night and suddenly I found myself floating in the room; I had no body but I felt I did. I remember looking down at my legs but they weren't there. I remember feeling so much joy as I floated up, down and spinned around having a wonderful time, it was an incredible sensation. Also, I had panoramic vision. It's difficult to explain but somehow I was able to see from all around my head as if my eyes were behind my head too. There was no sense of time either. I don't know how long I was out of my body.

I felt so happy that I went out the window and started to fly over the town. It wasn't night, it was daytime and the things in the town didn't seem exactly the same. I remember thinking that things looked a bit different, as if there were different trees in our garden. I flew over the houses, the buildings, and saw familiar people outside their houses. Then I thought "why not go to the beach?" as soon as the thought came to my mind I was instantly there.

Then I thought, well now I want to go out into space and I went up like a rocket but all of a sudden I felt very cold, it frightened me and I awoke in bed. My head hurt a little but a thought came to my mind: We are all made of the energy of Love so I can use this energy to heal myself. I then put my hands over my head and imagined the energy spinning inside of me. My headache disappeared.

I remember feeling overflowing love the following days: I felt love for every stranger I encountered on the streets, knowing that we were all made of the same energy (love) and in esence all conected somehow, even the stones, the trees, everything had the same energy. The feeling of unconditional love for everyone faded away as the weeks passed but my beliefs haven't changed a bit.

I learnt about Reiki (and found out I did it instinctively) and have helped relatives, friends and of course myself with Reiki.

After this experience I had another one in which I flew again. I also had five encounters with deceased relatives: my grandmother, grandfather, father, mother and father-in-law (whom I had never met because he had died when my husband was only 16).

The most interesting of all was the encounter with my father. When my father was alive we used to have long conversations about religion, philosophy, and we promised each other that whoever died first would let the other know all about the afterlife.

I found him in a beautiful meadow writing on a typewriter and we hugged each other with so much love and joy. We spoke for a very long time. He told me all about what he was doing in his afterlife, what he had felt when he died and many other things. It filled me with peace and love. All communication with deceased ones is telepathic and they are all healthy and somewhat younger than when they died.

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?     No      

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? Yes     There was no sense of time and I had vision all around my head, it's hard to explain.

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          No      

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           Total consciousness.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   No

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Yes     I had no body, no legs, nothing, but I felt intact.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            Immense happiness and freedom. Overflowing love during the following weeks.

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?           No, but the town had the usual noises (birds, waves, wind...)

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?    No           

Did you see a light?           No      

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Yes     Yes, I saw my Godmother outside her house and waved to her as I flew over the house. I also saw my husband outside and showed him how I could fly.

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state? No      

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          No      

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?          Yes     I could hear, see with panoramic vision, feel cold (when I soared upwards into space).

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Yes     It's difficult to explain, I just knew time was different. I also felt this at the age of 10. I had fainted and I remember watching all my life's events till that moment (like a movie). I woke up because my mother was shouting my name and she told me it had only been a second but to me it seemed like I had been revising my life for hours!.

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?    Yes     I knew God was love and we were all made of love, of that energy. And that I could use that energy to heal.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?             No      

Did you become aware of future events?       No      

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?       No      

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?   Yes     I heal with my hands (reiki), and five deceased relatives contacted me.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   Yes     Yes, I believe in God. I don't go to church but I know God is everything that is.

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       I try to help my students, friends and family. I tell them things they can do or lend them books to read or even do reiki to them.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         No      

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     Almost no one believes it. My family didn't at first but now they do. I have a friend who understands me because she reads about these things but no one I know has had an experience like this.

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  Unconditional love for all people. I felt like we were all brothers, all made of the same energy: LOVE/GOD.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      The best: flying at my will and feeling that wonderful energy of love.
