D's Experience
|
Experience description:
My
experience happened several times within a month. It always happened while I
was sleeping. At night after I had fell asleep I would feel like I was awake
but still sleeping at the same time. I couldn't move my body, I could only move
my head. I couldn't speak either, although I tried to speak to wake my husband.
While I watched myself lie there on my bed I tried to move and speak, I tried to
get up but couldn't. It felt like my body was so heavy or like someone was
holding me down. This whole time I felt very frightened.
Then
all of the sudden I would be awake as if nothing had happened. My heart would
be pounding so hard and fast. Then the next night it happened again. The same
exact experience. A couple of nights had passed and every night I was so afraid
to fall asleep fearing that I might have this experience again and wouldn't be
able to wake up.
The
last experience I had was just slightly different. It all started the same way,
but it was like I was above my bed watching myself sleep and I started to try to
make myself move or talk to wake my husband. This whole time I am still above my
bed watching myself and my husband sleep. Well I had woke up when my husband
heard me trying to talk to him. I was making this weird noise and he thought I
was playing around. I started to cry and told him that it had just happened
again. After that night I had never experienced anything like that.
