Chris T Experience

Experience description:
I sought to disprove the Zen Buddhism by following
a Zen master's instruction. I was Christian at
the time. I first cleansed my self by not drinking, lying, etc. for 7 days. Then
per the instructions, I locked and focused my
attention on my navel day and night without a break; with the except of when I
was speaking to others. About the fourth day, walking
home form work my experience began. I started seeing little light
points swirling about my head. Startled, I kept in
mind per instruction, not to release my focus on my
navel no matter what. The lights grew in number. The
light gave me the clear impression that they were alive; even happy. As the
light grew in number they eventually filled the sky and my entire surroundings
until there was nothing but light
in 360 degrees. At that point,
I knew I was no longer in my body. In fact I knew I had no body. The place I was
in was infinite. It was imbued with a feeling of confidence and extreme
sensation of love. As a matter of fact the feeling was to intense. I thought
that very thought and the intensity of love immediately decrease to a barable
level. The second thing I
noticed was the horizon of that endless void. It was
time as at it's edge. Time was circular and unending and at the
same time it was unmoved. Next, I
notice in all that light there was a small circular dome like light with that
light far a way. Somehow I knew there was a place of
learning that I could go to if I make that choice. I chose
instead to go back to earth and tell my family about it.
Next, I saw a transparent wave coming towards me almost in
slow motion. As it reached me, it seem to pass through me.
As it did, I felt a rush of information was condensed
information. I knew the information was about us here on earth and how we
interact to each other but it was moving too fast to
'read'. Next I found myself looking down at my body,
walking in meditation back in Brooklyn. I watched
people passing me on the street. I looked at there faces to see if they saw
anything strange about me. There was no indication based on their faces that
there was anything unusual about me. Next I was slammed into my body; then back
to that place, then back into my body. The sequence repeated about 6 or 7 time
with incredible speed until I was finally back in my body for good.
Since my experience, as a result of my
experience I have dedicated my life to continuing to grow spiritually and
enlightening other on our nature as spiritual beings.
