Hi. I'm Charlie. I would like to share this.

England 1965. I'm born and I'm being immediately put up for adoption.

Quick backstory. Form 1965 onwards my life just kept on messing up. Dreadful relationship with my adoptive mother.(My adoptive farther died of cancer when I was 14.)

I started boarding school as a 7 year old. This too, was a painful experience! Developed Astma aged 7. Spent most of school in a dream on meds. In short, I was soon a sorry disappointment to family and myself. Failed most exit exams and was in constant trouble with anything authoritarian. Thrown out of the system aged 17. A very angry bad tempered young man. You get the picture. More mistakes made, becoming a dad at 17, splitting at 20. More soul searching. A trip to India at 21 and a feeble attempt at education as a nurse, dropping out after a year.

A lucky lucky break. I inherited some money that my dad had left in a trust fund. My (adoptive)mother refused to have anything more to do with me. Drugs were a daily part of my life.More Soul Searching.

Started travelling again. Asia, Europe, parties, freedom, drugs and India. Oh yes, I loved reading. India was cheap, fun, full of weird people and had books...lots of books.

I got shot and this is how it happened.

Travelling with my then girlfriend through many countries arriving in asia and turning towards India. My reading journey had begun to take me deep into the spiritual side of life. The books were becoming deeper and they were giving me meaning, inspiration and teaching me meditation and such. Arriving in a small town in southern India (Madurai) by train after travelling down from Goa. Tired but happy we found a cheap hotel with ceiling fan and bedbugs. At about 7 pm we lay on the bed. I started to meditate.  The GF fell asleep.

After about 15 mins or so I heard a humming...from inside me. I was suddenly wide awake almost vibrating. My eyes were closed but I was not meditating...I was looking at a light. It was almost a cube now.

It became very bright and a figure started to emerge from it. Rotating slowly. A beautiful woman. Her presence was beautiful. And I couldn't do anything but stare with my minds eye. I was caught, ensnared even. She revolved upwards so she stood on the cube of light. She held a revolver in her hands pointing up with her elbows tucked into her sides. She slowly turned and as she turned her arms stretched out in front of her. When she was sideways looking to my left she fired the gun.

I watched as this ball of light emerged from the gun heading off to the left, rebounding back to the right. Going past her then upwards and then down. Going past her again and behind her. I was transfixed. The ball shot in the one direction then another. Zigzagging across my minds eye.And then it happened. It came at me, fast! Hit me straight in the third eye. And my brain/consciousness just exploded. In fact it was obliterated in a shower of light and love and power. Imploding and sending me into ecstasy. Not wanting to be rude but it was like 1000's of orgasms in one go. And I felt like I died and all I could do was lie there like a little gibbering baby and slowly regain my 'sight' of the most beautiful woman I had ever seen.

Then she looked at me and she said or sung or communicated telepathically; NEW PERSON. And I watched her slowly revolve down into her cube of light and while the tears streamed down my face I watched the cube slowly disappear from my minds sight. And from that moment in this illusion I knew that the search was over.

The beginning of the most incredible experiences had just begun. As I write this with tears in my eyes I thank god for his mercy, love and compassion. To feel his divine love humbles me to my core.

I wish this for all humankind.

30 years just went by.

The stories I could tell you. The things I have witnessed.

In short my life changed there. Drastically. I started to see auras and still do. (I even went to a Dr back home! He thought I was bananas!)

I have heard the angels sing while meditating. I have met amazing people, Indian Gurus and saints. The mystics I met that instructed me to help 'The Mother'.

The prophesies that came true.I have travelled most of the world. Married a fantastic lady and have 3 kids.

Earnt money beyond my dreams. Seen miracles up close. (Yes I read 'A Course Of Miracles' and it basically sung to me.)

And reconciled with my adoptive mum. She died 2 years ago aged 92. Bless her.

And so so much more.

At the time of your experience was there an associated life-threatening event?   No 

Was the experience difficult to express in words?  Yes     Tears describe it best. I still get all choked up thinking about it. I wrote a diary at the time and I wrote the experience as a poem for some reason.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?      While meditating.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?      More consciousness and alertness than normal   It was like my meditation was controlled for me. A kind of ' look here and learn'.

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   More light.

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   More tuned.

Did you see or hear any earthly events that were occurring during a time that your consciousness / awareness was apart from your physical / earthly body?   Uncertain   India is a busy noisy place. The street sounds disappeared.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?   Love. Unconditional love. Acceptance.  

Did you pass into or through a tunnel?   No  

Did you see an unearthly light?   Yes   Hit in the third eye...a cunning trick as I followed the light ball around my minds screen if you wish.

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice?   I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin
Absolutely. She was so beautiful. An angel? She 'loved' me. And I felt/knew that. She told me I was a New person. Humbling experience.

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)?   No  

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings?      

Did you become aware of past events in your life during your experience?   No  

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world?   No


Did time seem to speed up or slow down?   Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning
Lost track of 'Time'.

Did you suddenly seem to understand everything?   No

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?   No

Did you come to a border or point of no return?   No

Did scenes from the future come to you?  No 

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness suggesting that there either is (or is not) continued existence after earthly life (“life after death”)?   Yes   Where did she come from???

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that God or a supreme being either does (or does not) exist?   Yes   That feeling of love...I just thought 'GOD'.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that you either did (or did not) exist prior to this lifetime?   Yes   That there is other dimensions/realms containing other beings...higher beings or more enlightened beings.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that a mystical universal connection or unity/oneness either does (or does not) exist?   Uncertain   It just felt that we were one?

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness regarding earthly life’s meaning or purpose?   Yes   New person...I was aware that my old egoist self had met its match and was slain.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness regarding earthly life’s difficulties, challenges, or hardships?   Yes   New person. I was aware there would be some changes happening.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness regarding love?   Yes   I felt 'The Love'. I couldn't stop the tears.

During your experience, did you encounter any other specific information / awareness that you have not shared in other questions that is relevant to living our earthly lives?   No  

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge or purpose?   Uncertain   I just knew that this was real and special. The purpose became apparent later.

What occurred during your experience included:   Content that was both consistent and not consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience   I had been reading a lot of spiritual books at the time. Some about saints and mystics. Siddartha story.

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience?   I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of th   I wrote a poem in my diary...A poem! I am not a poetic person...normally.

Discuss any changes that might have occurred in your life after your experience:   It was a beginning. The experience completely reset my self identity. I could write a book on my experiences after. Maybe I will! I started reading other stuff too. C.O.M. and anything to do with spiritualism, auras chakras etc. I followed a new path and God led me down it. I gave my life to him. (With of course lots of resistance from my fading ego! I soon found out that more I listened to him the better things went for me.)

My experience directly resulted in:   Large changes in my life

Did you have any changes in your values or beliefs after the experience that occurred as a result of the experience?   Yes   Oh Yes. Someone just set a new agenda. I was hungry for answers and more experiences.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience?   Yes   I see auras. I hear things and feel things.

Kids love me, as do drunks and mad people. (It embarrasses my kids too!)

People say I heal them and help them. But I've been good at helping people without their knowing it was me.

I can make people do things, like sit down or back off or just forget what they were ranting about!

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you?     Yes. I felt like I had met my family. A real sense of belonging to a home. (I was adopted from birth.) As close to mothers love as I could get.

Have you ever shared this experience with others?   Yes  Quite a while. The girlfriend thought I was mad. Realized most friends back home thought I had taken too many drugs. Other girlfriends were a little dubious. I learned to not say too much. Kept quiet about it. I employed a guy 14 years ago. He is Bi-polar. After many years started noticing stuff about me which was weird. His friend died of cancer and I helped all the way thru the ordeal. (4 years). He noticed stuff ang got more spiritual too.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?   No  

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:   Experience was definitely real   Kept bursting into tears. Weird stuff like seeing Auras. Everything just seemed to click into place.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience at the current time:   Experience was definitely real   Life became fun..lots of fun.

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?   Yes   More honest. There is no shit with me. Many can't handle that. They leave.

Have your religious beliefs/spiritual practices changed specifically as a result of your experience?   Yes   I believe.

At any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the experience?   Yes   It will take another story. But that feeling has come back and stayed for longer periods. While visiting a Papaji fx. in Lucknow. (An Indian guru whom held satsangs.)

Is there anything else that you would like to add about your experience?   It is true.
