Cedric S' Experience

Experience description:
I
went to the beach that day to go surfing. I had already 4 years of experience
and was a very good surfer and swimmer. That day the waves were around 9 feet
tall, and just before going into the water I had a feeling I should not get in
the water, I was a bit nervous but I went anyway. I got hit by the
first wave of a set and it took me under ,when I surfaced I needed to take a
deep breath to be able to cope with the rest of the set(2) more waves. Here it
went wrong I got a whole lot of foam (white water) and I could not take in
enough air, so when the second wave hit me I went under without air, in panic
and because of the force of the wave I went down and because I was totally in
panic I did not see I was swimming in the wrong direction. Instead of going up I
was going to the bottom, first I tried to fight it but then I remember saying to
myself 'if I have to go like this God so be it'. A feeling of peace and serenity
came over me and everything turned into a very special blue and I was gone.
Next
thing I know I have my board under my arm and walking out of the water, I was
trying to understand what just went down. I had a feeling I was in another
dimension although I was on the same beach and later on went home to my house,
something had changed I could not really pinpoint it. Somehow I felt like I had
died and jumped into a parallel world that just was a little bit different than
what I was accustomed. I told only one person about this.
In
the next days I could sense a change in me, my five senses were more alert, I
had problems with bright light and acute sounds. Needless to say that my life
changed dramatically, I moved a lot from one country to another, I was restless.
A few years later I was in a very strange car accident and little after that I
had a re-birth. Then things started to really change, I had spontaneous out off
body experiences, where I would travel into space and get into big huge tunnel
like holes (found them in books about Mayans and also time travel) By now I had
a feeling of understanding much bigger than before the drowning, I had this urge
to find the truth, I could see trough people get over the small talk and things
like that. I had also more lucid dreams, got into Astral travelling (found
information in a book called Astral dynamics from Robert Bruce)
I
also seemed to have numerous conversations in my sleep with all kinds of people
and creatures, it all depended on my questions and interests at that point.
Sometimes Anubis would talk to me, or Greek philosophers and many others. To be
able to cope and confirm that I was not going crazy I started to read books at a
rate of 5 a week, I did this for at least 8 years. The books were not random but
they seemed to follow a pattern. I also lost total fear of death, this
does not mean I live dangerously I just have no fear to die. I also feel a deep
connection with al of nature and the universe. Dj vus are part of everyday
things.
I
have peace and understanding that conflicts with most people around me. I also
have no interest in religion, although I read books from Christianity to
Buddhism, Taoism, Sufism and so on. I got more interested in the Quantum world
and I seem to try more and more to understand things from that level up.
Although I can not put it in words I have a more universal understanding of
everything, it is like a inner knowing that is always present 24/7.I also have a
feeling something or someone is guiding me, almost like teaching me all I need
to know. But the biggest problem I had and still have sometimes is the feeling I
am not in the same world I was before the drowning, is it because I changed or
am I really in another although similar world? That I have no answer for yet. It
took me more than 20 years to be able to talk about this, I just needed to be
sure I would not sound crazy, but after reading so much and understanding things
better I can now tell people what went on and is still going on.
Was
the kind of experience difficult to express in words?
No
At
the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?
Yes I was drowning
At
what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness
and alertness?
Just before everything went bleu
How
did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience
compare to your normal every day consciousness and alertness?
More consciousness and alertness than normal
If
your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience was
different from your normal every day consciousness and alertness, please
explain:
Just before everything went bleu
Did
your vision differ in any way from your normal, everyday vision (in any aspect,
such as clarity, field of vision, colors, brightness, depth perception degree of
solidness/transparency of objects, etc.)?
Yes Everything seemed to have a depth to it like 4 dimensional kind off.
Did
your hearing differ in any way from your normal, everyday hearing (in any
aspect, such as clarity, ability to recognize source of sound, pitch, loudness,
etc.)?
Yes I did have a higher ability to hear different pitches and
sounds, that I normally did not hear.
Did
you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?
Yes
What emotions did you feel during the experience?
Serenity, peace, feeling of belonging, freedom, expansion.
Did
you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?
No
Did
you see a light?
Uncertain It was not a light it was more a total immersion into a bleu
colored world
Did
you meet or see any other beings?
No
Did
you experience a review of past events in your life?
Uncertain At the moment itself I did not, but it seemed like it appeared
little by little everyday after that, I had a feeling I needed to rectify a lot
of things that I had lived trough in the past. Also the review came more in my
sleep after the drowning.
Did
you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience
that could be verified later?
No
Did
you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or
dimensions?
No
Did
you have any sense of altered space or time?
Yes Yes, it felt like there was no more time.
Did
you have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?
Yes It is difficult to explain but I seem to have gotten more knowledge
although not in words but more a inner knowing, a feeling of universal knowing
without the need to explain or discuss 'I just know' and that is enough feeling.
Did
you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?
Uncertain It went all to fast. I did have the feeling I was stopped and
send back, for many years I had a problem with that, because when I drowned I
gave in and thought that was a sign of acceptance. So for me to be back was a
negative experience that took years to accept. The barrier looked like some kind
of gigantic web.
Did
you become aware of future events?
Uncertain
Not really but I did have peace about everything that would happen
in my life from then on, and when major events occurred I was not surprised at
all. It is like a knowing that these things have to happen.
Did
you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience
you did not have prior to the experience?
Uncertain My senses are more accurate, I seem to be able to know what
somebody will say before they do, I travel in my sleep and I am aware of these
trips as if they were real, I am more aware of everything around me.
Have you shared this experience with others?
Yes I shared it with one person just after the experience and then I kept it
for myself for more than 20 years. I started talking about it when I met a
Parapsychologist who helped me understand things better.
Did
you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?
No
How
did you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it
happened:
Experience was definitely real It was real to me because of the rapid changes
I experienced afterwards in my life and the way I perceived and lived things,
the change was dramatic and speeded up.
Were there one or several parts of the experience especially meaningful or
significant to you?
Yes,
it changed my whole belief and view of life itself. Nothing was ever the same.
How
do you currently view the reality of your experience:
Experience was definitely real After so many years of change (for the
better) and everything I go trough on daily bases I can not think for one minute
the experience was not real. There is no doubt in my mind and heart it went down
like it did, there might be a few elements in the aftermath that are not clear
yet.
Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your
experience?
Yes
I am more loving, tolerant, bigger sense of evolvement, more calm, more open to
otherwise not explainable things. More patient, more relaxed, more secure. More
aware.
Have your religious beliefs/practices changed specifically as a result of your
experience?
Uncertain
When
I was born my mother was and still is a Jehovah witness, I used to study the
bible but did not really agree with her religion or any other Christian based
one. Right now I have no belief at al as religion is concerned. I do
believe we are part of a bigger picture, and very much involved as human race,
more than we know. We are not some evolutionary thing that is without control,
but we are part of a universal kind of program in action, together with other
worlds.
Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life,
medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?
Yes A very big car accident and a re-birth.
Is
there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?
I
have no regrets I had the experience it changed me into a better person al
around, even if right now I am not in a constant balanced state of awareness, it
keeps getting better and better.
Did
the questions asked and information you provided so far accurately and
comprehensively describe your experience?
Yes The questions were simple and to the point I had no difficulty answering
them at a very easy pace.
