Beverly M's Experience
|
Experience description:
Just after
waking, I was lying in bed in the morning. I began to meditate, since I felt my
mind was clear. I heard an increasingly loud buzzing in my ears and the buzzing
morphed into a vibration over my entire body. I felt myself separating from my
body, I glaced down and saw that I was now had bright lemon yellow body. The
dresser mirror was near but I was afraid to look into it. I boobed around a
while near the ceiling, then my body knew to assume a sort of swimming position
with arms at my side and I was able to "swim" toward the bedroom wall. I found,
however, I wasn't able to penetrate the walls, they felt solid. The long window,
however, was quite easy to penetrate, I felt the pressure of the glass as I
passed through it.

very
alert and as conscious as in any daily physical state.

not this one.
Did

What

excitement,
which I tried to quell so as not to interrupt the OOB.
Did
you hear any unusual sounds or noises?
very loud
buzzing (irritating) like a nest of hornets as the physical body and spiritual
body separated.
LOCATION DESCRIPTION:
Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar
religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or
amazing creatures?
No
Did
you see a light?
No
Did
you meet or see any other beings?
No
Did
you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state?
Yes
attempted to turn light switch, heard it "switch" but the light didn't come on.
Did
you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience
that could be verified later?
Yes the pot
shards. In another OOB, I attempted to pull another person out of their body so
they could share the experience with me, but that was definitely a mistake, I
thought their spirit body would be difficult to pull out, but it was so easy I
accidentally slammed their spirit body against the wall. Later, this person
complained of a severe headache. Also, I know I broke some sort of "spiritual
law" by doing this.

Yes
hearing was as usual, vision - everything looked brighter, more intense.

Yes
the bottom-of-the-spine tug, I had the emotion of regret to return to my
physical body.
Did
you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience
that you did not have prior to the experience?
Yes A couple of nights before 9/11 I had an experience where I saw 4 burned
out suns, charred but with flames radiating from the edges of the
disks-descending from the sky. I knew that was the beginning of the end. I
worked at ATT then and my manager called to tell me I must come to work
regardless of the situation. I refused her, explaining I wanted to be with my
family. She said people really needed communications now. But I still refused.
When this event actually occurred, my manager did call, but to tell me not to
come to work as ATT's whole communication complex was under the twin towers and
had been completely wiped out. This experience was a dream though and not an OOB.
I related this dream several people before the event occurred.
Did
you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?
Yes yes, I
feel now that there are other beings who really do care about what happens to
us, they want to warn and guide us about important things because sometimes we
loss sight of what is really important. In fact, there is a whole system set up
in the spirit world and there are spiritual laws of nature that exist just as
there physical laws of nature.
How
has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices?
Career choices?
certainly less
orthodox in my religious attitude. As far as OOBs are concerned, I simply don't
talk about it to people. But the out of body experience opened new realms of
possibilities in my physical life, I have made radical changes which turned out
for the better although it was tough in the beginning.
Has
your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?
Yes knowing
that there is a whole other dimension out there, and it's not science fiction
gives one a more objective attitude. I tend to see the whole picture now instead
of details. I have more guts to accomplish my goals. Before, I always worried
about what other people thought, now I don't.
Have
you shared this experience with others?
No
What emotions
did you experience following your experience?
excitement, a
spirit of adventure, a yearning to know more.
What
was the best and worst part of your experience?
It bothered me
that I was afraid to look at myself in the mirror in my out of body state, so I
did experience fear, but for the most part, there was a unique feeling of being
completely carefree and free. The best part was the flying
Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life,
medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?
No
Did
the questions asked and information you provided accurately and comprehensively
describe your experience?
Yes Your

mind. I feel I have provided every detail.
