Bella's Experience
|
Experience description:
I went to take
a nap. I don't remember how long into it I was, but the feeling was like a
powerful force that pulled me into darkness. Like someone had put their arms
around me and was pulling me away. It was not welcoming arms either. I felt like
it was pulling me into death. It was like a spinning, whirlwind of darkness. I
tried to scream and was unable to make a sound. I was trying to get out and wake
up. I guess I was aware enough to know that I was trying to wake myself up. It
was a struggle, but I was finally able to yell and be released from the grip of
that force.
Waking up to
consciousness, I felt very frightened. I have had similar experiences since
then. Two more in the past year. The first I felt extreme pressure on my body .
I was lying on my side and it felt as if an evil force was up against my head
and pushing my head into the pillow. Again I felt the paralyzing grip and tried
to yell to wake myself up, yelling "NO". I also felt the enveloping of darkness.
I could not sleep for awhile after that, afraid to go into that state again.
The most recent
was 2 nights ago, which triggered this search for what has happened to me. I
need an explanation. I had just fallen asleep, or was drifting off. I felt like
I was asleep. I felt like a was dreaming. (but that cannot be possible as it was
only 20 min. into my sleep, and we do not enter REM until 2 hours) I was aware
of a bright light to my right, and thinking that I was dreaming, it was a
computer (but to my right is really my tv which was off) Then the light just
went out and I felt this vibration start from my feet and move up through my
body rapidly. It was a force, and I almost felt like I was about to be lifted up
into a cloud. It frightened me. I felt like it could be death. I felt like i had
to wake myself up. And the paralyzing feeling of being unable to scream was
there as usual. But, I manage with a lot of will to yell "NO" again, and I'm
awake. Then I feel aware of a presence and almost think I saw spirits, whatever
they may look like. No form of a person, just wisps. Again, I am afraid of going
back to sleep. I don't believe I am dreaming at all in any of my experiences,
and trying to explain them to someone is difficult, but I am convinced that they
have been experiences. I feel a spirit, but not a friendly one, am I
right? Or is it just my fear? And how do I overcome the fear of it?
