the next thing i know when i became aware i realized the blankets were not what was moving, it was me.  by now i was at the doorway by the ceiling still horizontal.  i was panic stricken.  i remember trying to scream but no noise could be produced.  i could see myself lying there in the dark still covered. i tried to scream once again and this time a moan came out of my body as simultaneously i was zapped back into my body.  my sister was yelling for me to hush.  i tried to tell her what had occurred but she insisted it was only a dream.  i believed her and went back to sleep only to have the same occurrence happen again! 

i tried to resist, but there was a vacuum i seemed to be caught in and could not escape.  i was frightened but mesmerized at the same time.  as if some unseen force beckoned me, then i saw her.  she was only a head.  she was old and appeared to be of my heritage.  her eyes were luring me and i could not control anything try as i might.  suddenly i was thrust into the night sky then the day sky then the night and then the day.  it appeared to be endless, the rotation of the earth as i witnessed it from above.

With a sudden jolt, i recall going through a tree in daylight. i did not recognize this place.  i could no longer see the old woman, instead i saw children.  they saw me and were screaming in completer horror which in turn terrified me.  they ran to take cover, pointing and screaming.  their mothers, i assume, came running out.  they too screamed and pointed as they ran into their houses.  i looked around in disbelief and realized i was in a different land.  the cars looked so foreign and the people i had seen were not at all like us as all the women and girls had their heads covered. 

then just as suddenly, i was jolted back into the skies of day and night, day and night.  However many, i could not count  -  back into the back yard through the ceiling, through the covers, into my body as i let out a shrilling cry which had awaken the whole household.  my mother rushed in and when i told her of what i had experienced, she said "oh no, not you too"  she went on to explain that she has always experienced this and considers it a curse.  i think of it as one to.  i felt so violated.  so helpless.

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? Yes

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          No

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           at first i was aloof but soon i was very aware of everything from smell to feeling.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   no, it was like nothing else.  its so hard to explain.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Yes

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            mostly death defying fear. i thought i had died. i felt confused yet enticed all the same.

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?           the sound of ripples as my body went through solid objects.  the sound of time passing. a sound that cannot be described, almost like a diesel motor.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?    Yes, my back yard, my dog, who cried as i passed above, the highway and surrounding businesses

Did you see a light?           Yes, the light of the days as i rotated the earth at warp speed

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Yes

yes, in their yards, streets, homes.  no i did not know them.  they saw me, i could not communicate  i had no control of direction much less communication

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state? Yes

yes, i saw and heard my dog yelping, which later my sister verified did happen

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          Yes

i saw my dog yelping and my sister remembers hearing him and looking out the window to see what was wrong but saw nothing.

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?          Yes, they were so much clearer.  all of my senses.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Yes

i belief i traveled to a different time.  i saw day and night over and over until it was almost a blur until i stopped and then i saw it in reverse.

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?    No

i am not sure.  it could have been future or past. it could have possibly been the war of Kosovo many years later.

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?       No

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?         Yes, i became very sensitive to paranormal presences

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   Yes

i became closer to my parents, especially my mother.

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       i don't take life for granted anymore that's for sure.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         Uncertain

i have explored Christianity where i might not have before, just accepting it without understanding it.

my mother, she felt really bad, like she had passed it on because of her culture

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  i was afraid to sleep in bed alone after that and in fact tied myself to my mother nightly for a good while.  this was to prevent me from leaving my body being that she was a light sleeper the slightest movement would be all i would have to make.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      I'm still not sure

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?        i feel that it was evil because i feared it.  if it was good i would not be allowed to fear it.

it has been a long battle as to this day i constantly resist the forces that try to drive me out of my body.
