Experience description:

I was walking through the clouds holding Gods hand. I felt the most peace I have ever felt and a feeling that I never wanted to leave. He was walking me closer and closer to pearly gates, but I did not go through. He said to me "It's not your time child, it's not your time" and I felt myself being sucked back down. I knew the body in Heaven was my own as I could see it.

I also hear my mother's voice faintly in the distance at the time I felt myself being sucked back down.

I was also shown hell and purgatory

In hell I remember seeing very skinny people crawling around on the ground with lots of fire and it was dark

In purgatory all I could see was fire

God had long brown hair, tan skin, and His clothes were robe like

I somehow knew that Jesus was not there and that He was in the middle east somewhere during my time with God.

My mother said when I awoke I was asking questions about the hospitals NICU, I had asked the nurse where it was and that I knew there were babies in test tubes there

I also asked a nurse about their morgue, saying I needed to see the list of people.

I also told my mother and father about my grandmother having a stroke and that she had another stroke and she was dead. But both of my grandmothers are still alive. My father's mother recently had one stroke.

At the time of your experience was there an associated life-threatening event?   Yes  I went in to cardiac arrest. First time for 15 minutes, second time for 30 minutes. I was clinically dead twice

Did you see or hear any earthly events that were occurring during a time that your consciousness / awareness was apart from your physical / earthly body?   Yes   I heard my mother in the distance after God told me it wasn't my time

What emotions did you feel during the experience?   the most peace I have ever felt and like I never wanted to leave

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)?   Yes   God spoke to me and was holding my hand. He had long brown hair, tan skin, and robe like clothing. I could not see His face though. I somehow knew that Jesus was not there and that he was in the middle east somewhere at the time I was with God

I was in the clouds with God, he was holding my hand and walking me closer the pearly gates. I saw hell, there were very skinny people crawling on the ground it was dark and there was fire, I saw purgatory and all I remember seeing there was fire

Did time seem to speed up or slow down?   Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning
My mom said when I woke up I asked how long I was gone. She told me I was in a coma for 2 days, but to me I though I was gone maybe 3 months or 3 weeks even

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?   Yes
I reached the pearly gats to Heaven, but could not go through

Did you come to a border or point of no return?   I came to a barrier that I was not permitted to cross; or was sent back against my will
God said to me 'It's not your time child, it's not your time' when we were standing at the pearly gates to Heaven. And then I was just sent back

Did scenes from the future come to you?  Scenes from my personal future 
My mother told me I asked the nurses about their NICU and their morgue and that I said my grandmother was dead but she isn't

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that God or a supreme being either does (or does not) exist?   Yes   Yes God was holding my hand and walking with me through the clouds and spoke to me. I also was somehow aware that Jesus was not there but somewhere in the middle east

Did you have any changes in your values or beliefs after the experience that occurred as a result of the experience?   Uncertain   My mother did. She started going to church again and reading the Bible and now no longer questions God or her faith. She has me go with her when I want to. I am somewhat looking for what religion looks like to me now and want to explore that but not sure what type of religion I am interested in.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience?   No       

Have you ever shared this experience with others?   Uncertain  My mother has but I personally have not

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?   No  

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:   Experience was probably real   I wasn't sure if it was real or if it was from me being in a coma, clinically dead-my heart stopped twice and I had no pulse and I was not breathing on my own. My mother said when she came to the ICU after they called her during my second cardiac arrest they were not going to let her in but one nurse spoke up and said please let mom in here and that he told my mom to go and talk to me and when she did the nurse said my heart started again. He said they had been working on me for nearly 30 minutes and would not give up and the second she spoke to me my heart started again. I later found out that particular nurse had a near death experience himself and knew somehow that I needed to her my mother's voice

What do you believe about the reality of your experience at the current time:   Experience was probably real  

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?   Yes   My relationship with my mother has changed significantly as she is more patient and kind and so am I towards her. There seems to be more peace in my life now but I am still unsure of what to do with my life now that I have been give a second chance.

Have your religious beliefs/spiritual practices changed specifically as a result of your experience?   Uncertain   My mother's have and she is encouraging me to get more involved in religion. I know I asked my mom to see a Rabi and did not understand why. My aunt thinks it is because Jesus was a Rabi
