Amanda E's Experience
|
Experience description:
Every
experience is some what a little different, but i can say most start with sleep
paralysis. I have come to consciousness floating high above my house looking
down at the trees and roof so vividly. I have been visited and paralyzed by
four pairs of arms of apparitions, and two nights later the same kind of
apparition grabbed a hold of my arm (physical one) and yanked it into the air
while i was laying on my bed. I saw one spirit who was peaceful. I can not
move physical objects while out of my body, but i can think myself places. One
i had i was soaring over fields, and trees and came to a training camp way out
in the mountains where soldiers were training with fire arms. I have had
experiences that brought me to some ones house. I observed what went on and
later verified it to the person. Sometimes i get very afraid and stay close to
my body. One
thing i would love to ask you, and i have been looking for answers and any
research about this. I have found not yet. I have sleep narcolepsy. My
symptoms started around age fifteen. One symptom of narcolepsy is sleep
paralysis. I feel because of this it is easier, and happens more often, leaving
my body. within five minutes of falling asleep i am dreaming and always very
aware that i am dreaming. Sleep test verified the abnormal patterns that lead
to the diagnosis of narcolepsy, but could these different patterns in brain
activity be linked to oobes, and do you think some how these patterns could
verify oobes on brain wave test? And instead of doctors calling them oobes they
relate it to their medical profession and call it sleep narcolepsy. Because i
dream very fast in to sleep and so frequently during the night it is hard for me
to stay alert during the day. As if i am always "half aware" of my
surroundings. I do find myself longing for something more real. And feel very
comfortable in my dreams. I lucid dream almost every night and have excellent
control over my activities in them. I
have so many experiences to tell. Around fifteen i started feeling the
vibrations at night while i was wide awake. I always thought it was my bed
vibrating and it would scare the heck out of me. I also found out that if you
get scared during an oobe, and panic, you lose control of your thought, and you
could get stuck wrestling around in your oobe, or the oobe will cease. when
they seize i am back in a state of paralysis. at
seventeen the oobes occurred about once or twice every six months or some other
unexplainable event. By twenty two I experienced them closer and closer
together as i got older. I also realized that many of my intuitions and dreams
were coming true. For instance, i have never been in a car accident and never
thought about being in one or even worried about it. But two weeks ago i had a
nagging feeling to be more alert while driving, the thought of being in a car
accident wouldn't leave my mind for long. Two days later after this intuition
or feeling, i was in a pretty bad car wreck, my car was totaled, but i almost
felt prepared for it, and i covered my head, which i very much believe saved me
from smashing my head into the steering wheel and causing a concussion. Dreams
about tornadoes, bad wind, snow storms, and comets (meteorites), are frequent
dreams of mine. One i remember, i was in a big shopping store and a tornadoes
was closing in fast than i woke up. Something else happened also, one time. It
was a hot summer day, so i stopped at the store to buy a Pepsi. As i walked up
to the counter, a voice said in my head " Buy a ticket, you will win fifty
dollars." It was my voice but not my thought. I bought a ticket, and i never
win anything, told the cashier to pick any one, and i won fifty dollars. These
things happen all the time. But not about winning money. I was broke that day,
and didn't have enough gas in my car to even get home. I
remember my spirit one time, completely turning around in my own body. It felt
as though i turned around in a universe. I also tried to get my boy friend out
of his body one time. I was half way out of my body, i grabbed his spirit arm.
It was like rubber and bent in a funny way, but his spirit pulled hard back into
his body. I believe it is because he wasn't conscious, he was sound asleep. As a
teenager, i played with uiji boards. After starting on them, many unexplainable
things happened, that not only i witnessed. Knockings in the closet that would
stop when i looked, heads looking into our two story bedroom, cloths flying
threw the air at unbelievable speeds. at
fifteen, i had an intuition that something horrible would happen to me, and two
weeks later i was left for dead in the mountains by two men. I also dreamt of
the place and the clothing my dad wore when he had his first heart attack. I
would write more but need to get to bed by nine for school. I would
also love to hear your comments about my experiences and would like to know
about the question above regarding sleep narcolepsy. I wonder if there is a
connection.
Experience description:
Any associated medications

Yes
I never look at my form, though
one time i looked into a mirror and it looked like me accept my eyes. They were

with me and my sight or perspective. No physical feeling at all.

during the experience?
at first they wee always scary.
Now i am more relaxed about it, and i find myself fascinated about having one.

Did you hear any unusual
sounds or noises?
One time, in an oobe i was
crawling on my floor trying to gain control. All the shades on my windows were
shaking in every room of my house. I remembered not to panic, and thought, "I
can walk through walls." I went through the kitchen and walked right through
the door, and there stood a lady just smiling at me. I decided to dismiss her
and walked down the stairs in the apartment building then thought myself back to
my body.
