Allan's Experiences
|
Experience description:
For a
period of time I had the ability to take myself out of my body at bedtime. I was
able to do this upon request and looked forward to it as part of my bedtime
ritual. The out of body experiences started slowly in that I would see my body
laying on the bed and after a period of time I began to experiment and transport
myself to various areas of the house and eventually the neighborhood. I was
quite the adventurer throughout my youth and was always intrigued by things far
beyond my years.
My
ability to conduct these episodes ended abruptly after during one of these
incidents I decided to go into space. Yes, I said it. For whatever reason I
became incredibly frightened and for a short period of time panicked when I
believed that I had gone to far and lost the association with my body. At that
moment, I remember loosing control of the process and I plummeted at what felt
like incredible speed back into my body. I remember that when my soul re-entered
my body it was as though my body was dropped from an extreme distance. The
reintroduction of my being to my body was violent such that my body bounced off
the bed as if it were a trampoline and ever since that moment I was unable to
recreate the out of body experience. That was such a terrible disappointment..
Anyway,
a few other tidbits on me: While rock climbing I saw my life flash before my
eyes (roughly at the age 17) and during a camping trip, I saw ghosts. Not
knowing the area, I learned the next morning that we had inadvertently pitched
our tent next to a war memorial site. The ghosts I saw were dressed in
confederate soldier attire and playing music (the drums) as they were coming up
to our tent area. The weird thing is that I heard the drumming music and that
provoked me to turn around at which point I saw three soldiers in wartime attire
playing the drums as they walked up the path to our camp site.
