Experience description:

I was working outside in an extremely hot day.  I was working with yard equipment and had stopped to take a breather.  I was beginning to get dizzy and started to hear my deceased mother's voice saying, "Hi, Honey!"  This voice seemed to be coming from my 10 o'clock position.  Just after that I felt pulled out toward that direction.  I popped thru what seemed to be a small portal and I immediately saw my deceased mother, deceased 2nd wife, and deceased best friend.  The vision was SO real.  My vision was very much clearer there than anything I could see here on earth.  I briefly looked at all three of them separately, trying to absorb what was happening.  My mother then repeated what she had said earlier, and I drew my attention toward her.  She had her arms outstretched toward me.  It was at this time It had dawned on me that I must have died and got scared and pulled myself back into my body.  The strange thing about the whole experience is that my human body had never fallen to the ground during this experience.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?      More consciousness and alertness than normal   Vision was Extremely Sharp, clear, detailed and colorful.

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   Vision is much more clear during NDE, similar to the best High Definition picture you can see, but even better than that.  My human vision is poor.

Did you see or hear any earthly events that were occurring during a time that your consciousness / awareness was apart from your physical / earthly body?   No  

What emotions did you feel during the experience?   Confused, as I was totally surprised this incident was even happening  

Did you pass into or through a tunnel?   Uncertain   not really a tunnel, but more like flying immediately passing through a small round window.

Did you see an unearthly light?   No  

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice?   No

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)?   No  

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings?   Yes   Mother, 2nd wife, and best friend who were all deceased

Did you become aware of past events in your life during your experience?   No  

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world?   Some unfamiliar and strange place
I never saw anything clear except the deceased persons.  we appeared to be in a white colored void area.  It was like being in a cloud, white and featureless.

Did time seem to speed up or slow down?   No

Did you suddenly seem to understand everything?   No

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?   No

Did you come to a border or point of no return?   No

Did scenes from the future come to you?  No

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you?     Yes, I was always worried that my 2nd wife and best friend may not have made it to heaven. But after this event, it has put me to peace on this issue
